Rod joined First Advantage from Kronos, a leader in Human Resources technology, where he was a Sales Director. Prior to Kronos, he served as Vice President of Sales, Americas with Hoya Surgical, Director of U.S. Sales with Bausch + Lomb Surgical and Area Vice President of Sales with Authoria in the human capital management market.  Rod holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Northern Iowa and has furthered his education through leadership development training in the U.S. and abroad.

Bret Jardine is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of First Advantage, with responsibility for all legal affairs from corporate governance to litigation management and regulatory compliance. In practice for over 25 years, Bret brought his experience as a litigator, including class actions and regulatory inquiries, as well as corporate transactional work and corporate governance to First Advantage beginning in 2004.

With background screening as First Advantage’s core business, Bret has developed a special emphasis and expertise on the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and state laws affecting background screening. In addition to providing overall guidance to the company on compliance with the FCRA in the delivery of its services, he regularly provides insight to First Advantage clients into legal issues related to their use of background screening reports, and frequently speaks in webinars, client advisory board meetings and with external counsel in panels at seminars or speaking engagements regarding best practices and issues that impact employers and the background screening industry. And as First Advantage is a global provider of background screening services, Bret has expertise and oversees a team of regulatory compliance officers regarding data privacy laws and regulations to assist in providing guidance to First Advantage and its global customers.

Michael is the Chief Human Resources Officer for First Advantage.  Michael first joined First Advantage in 2013 and was a key member of the executive team integrating various new acquisitions into the new First Advantage and now leads all human capital functions and processes for First Advantage.   Michael has extensive experience in high growth, turnaround environments.

Prior to First Advantage, he was Chief Human Resources Officer for Wolters Kluwer, a publicly traded €3.425 billion global business to business information services leader, where he had strategic and day-to-day operating leadership of the HR function for Wolters Kluwer’s profit centers in the Americas, the UK and Asia/Pacific as well as the global shared services organization.

Michael has a B.S. degree in Education and Anthropology from the University of Arizona and an M.S. degree in Human Resources Management with a specialization in organizational design from the New School for Social Research in New York.

He is a frequent speaker at professional organizations such as the Human Resource Planning Society and has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, HRO Magazine and other workforce management publications.  Michael is considered a thought leader and sought after public speaker on human capital topics including culture change, human capital metrics, outsourcing partnerships, and HR shared services.

Rolf is an enterprise software executive with more than a decade of leadership experience in cloud HCM (Human Capital Management) solutions. At First Advantage, Rolf is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) marketplaces where he directs innovative product development and support.

Rolf most recently led global sales at Lumesse, a leading human capital technology in the world’s fastest growth regions in terms of software and cloud developments—Europe, Asia and the United States. With his background across 3 continents, Rolf brings a wealth of experience and understanding of global diversity in the HCM space and the need for global, consistent policies whilst enabling local efficiency in HR practices and compliance.

Before Lumesse, Rolf held various executive roles in high-growth companies ranging from Aon, MrTed, StepStone Solutions, and HRBoss. He earned his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Throughout her career Joelle has established a strong track record of organization-changing business development. She began focused on capital markets, working on economic modelling software and data science platforms for financial services clients globally. From there, pivoted for an opportunity with a technology services start-up where she grew their BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) vertical from zero to 600 people in three years.

Joelle also spearheaded the groundbreaking design and development of the first Agile development lab and Global Agile Center of Excellence for a leading IT Services company in Gainesville, Florida.  Under her leadership, the business has grown into a world-class hub for digital transformation through agile development.  Following the success of the development center, she was appointed VP and asked to lead their Travel, Transport and Hospitality division, a group with 2,100 employees worldwide.

David Gamsey is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of First Advantage Corporation.  Mr. Gamsey is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s domestic and international accounting and finance organizations.  Prior to First Advantage, Mr. Gamsey served as Chief Financial Officer at Air Serv Corporation, a private equity backed global leader in outsourced services to the airline industry.  Air Serv was sold to ABM Industries (NYSE: ABM) in 2012.  After the sale, Mr. Gamsey was promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Air Serv, where he led an organization of more than 12,000 employees with operations at 44 airports in the United States and 12 in the United Kingdom.

Prior to this, Mr. Gamsey was the Chief Financial Officer at Beecher Carlson, an Austin Ventures backed private equity roll-up in the insurance brokerage industry; Innotrac Corporation, a NASDAQ listed fulfillment and call center business; and AHL Services, Inc., the predecessor company to Air Serv, which Mr. Gamsey helped take public and grow to $1 billion in revenues and 56,000 employees.  During those tenures, he led an IPO; raised senior debt, sub debt and equity; and performed due diligence, acquired and integrated 40 acquisitions throughout the United States and Europe.  Mr. Gamsey spent the first 16 years of his career at Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Gamsey received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with distinction, from Emory University.  Mr. Gamsey is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Scott has more than 30 years of experience in the Services sector, having co-founded Mindtree in 1999, a digital transformation and IT services company. Scott helped take Mindtree public in 2007 and the Mindtree IPO became one of the most successful in IT Services history. At Mindtree, Scott served as president of the Americas and head of vertical markets. Scott is known as a “growth entrepreneur” and was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Technology Services in 2015.

Prior to co-founding Mindtree, Scott served as a Director at Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP), where he was responsible for key accounts in the mid-Atlantic region. In this role, Scott drove e-business, CRM, IT strategy and application management initiatives for Fortune 1000 companies. In the early 1990s, Scott moved into the consulting arena as a director of marketing for Gemini Consulting’s North American financial services practice. Scott is a frequent contributor to industry magazines and journals, webinars, and conferences. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Delaware and a Master’s in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, New Jersey.
